Calystegia silvatica (convolvulus), glass, plastic, cork, soil, water, light
There are some 55 genera and 1650 species of Convolvulaceae—the Latin nomenclature for a plant known to many as bindweed, morning glory, or convolvulus. Pavilion offers visitors a fresh introduction to this familiar plant and places a spotlight on the human network of faults and failings applied to plants that are perceived to be unwelcome.
The artists acknowledge the support of The New Brunswick Arts Board.
Thank you alystegia silvatica, Jonny Chapman, Marko Draganoff, David Maliken, Lily Ross, and TGP Ltd.
